The Role of Home Health Aides with Clients Exhibiting Unhealthy Substance Use

The goal of this project is to build partnerships and collaborations to support an investment in the development of interventions for home health aides to use with clients who are experiencing substance abuse issues. A review of potential brief interventions and trainings that could be used with this workforce will be undertaken with the ultimate goal of designing a research study to examine the impact of an intervention on client and home care aide outcomes.
