Annual Home Care Aide Celebration

Another year of great success honoring our home care industry workers!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Council’s 48th Annual Home Care Aide Celebration on November 7th in Randolph! Over 200 home care staff joined together for this spectacular event that honors the work of home care aides across the Commonwealth.

This year’s event began with congratulatory remarks by EOEA Secretary Alice Bonner. We extend our sincere thanks to Secretary Bonner for joining us for this important annual event. Following the Secretary’s remarks, Poet Ali provided an inspiring keynote address entitled, “A Language Beyond Words.”

The Council’s Award Ceremony, recognized home care aides who have worked for their agencies for 10 years or more, providing special recognition to aides who have worked for their agencies for 25 years or more. Our Celebration Booklet recognized over 1,000 home care aides who have worked for their agency for ten or more years. In addition, 108 of these aides had worked that their agency for 25 years or more. We also offered special recognition to the home care agency with the largest attendance at our Celebration this year.

Congratulations to Medical Resources Home Health. Over 30 home care staff from their agency attended our event this year!
